SDG&E Accessible Hazard Alert System

SDG&E is working with Deaf Link to provide the Accessible Hazard Alert System (AHAS) which offers accessible alert messages and preparedness information to people who are Deaf, Blind, Hard of Hearing, or Deaf / Blind about power outages and gas emergencies.

SDG&E customers who have been affected by a Public Safety Power Shutoff (PSPS), other type of power outage, or a gas emergency and whose contact information is up to date in their SDG&E My Account will receive notifications that contain a link to an accessible alert message in American Sign Language (ASL) with English voice and accessible text. The alert message may provide important information about the outage and what actions to take.

SDG&E AHAS accessible alert messages may be accessed by internet and video capable devices such as computers, smart phones, tablet computers, and wireless Braille readers.

Prepare, Plan, and Stay Informed. Please make sure your contact information is up to date in your SDG&E My Account by going to MyAccount.SDGE.com.

Download the free Alerts by SDG&E mobile app for alerts, information, and services available during a PSPS and other emergencies.

During a power outage contact 211 for support services.
